The Quad Cities Christian Eagles stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They breezed by East Moline Christian on the road to the tune of 51-16. Quad Cities Christian pushed the score to 45-12 by the end of the third, a deficit East Moline Christian had no chance of recovering from.
It was another big night for Seth Karl, who scored 16 points along with six steals and five assists. He hasn't dropped below 16 points for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Immanuel Anderson, who scored 15 points along with two blocks.
Quad Cities Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for East Moline Christian, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quad Cities Christian will take on Rivermont Collegiate at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Rivermont Collegiate focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Monday. As for East Moline Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Galesburg Christian at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Illinois (East Moline Christian is ranked 666th, while Galesburg Christian is ranked 654th).
