Karmello Jones Turns in Season-Best Performance
Karmello Jones produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Cross to the win on Friday. Jones rushed for 289 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run.
The victory (which was Cross' fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Jones and Cross will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bethune-Bowman at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.
