University Charter never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 17-0 margin over the Pickens County Tornadoes. The Trail Blazers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.

Josiah Dubose was a standout: he scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. University Charter is 3-1 when Dubose posts two or more runs, but 4-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonah Dubose, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

University Charter always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

University Charter is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.9 runs over those games. Pickens County's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University Charter will take on Pickens Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pickens Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Pickens County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Holy Spirit Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
