Defiance has struggled against Napoleon recently, as their contest on Saturday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Napoleon found their leader in underclassman Chloe Cicero, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Ella Tassler was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Defiance's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Napoleon, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Defiance will be playing at home against Wayne Trace at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Napoleon, they will head out on the road to face off against Whitmer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
