Lawrence Academy waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Northeast Academy Eagles. Considering the Warriors have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Jaslene Ethridge made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Claire Smith was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Lilly Brower was another key player, going 1-for-2 with four RBI and one run.
Lawrence Academy's record is now 17-5. As for Northeast Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
