While Virginia City didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams on Tuesday as Virginia City made off with a 19-4 victory. Considering the Muckers have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Virginia City got a massive performance out of Jordan Harold, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Nanna Lopez, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-2.

Virginia City was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .412 or higher in six consecutive matches.

Virginia City's win bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Virginia City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 20-10 victory against Smith Valley on the 29th. As for Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wells at 10:00 a.m. on April 12. Wells has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.63 runs per game on average), something Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage will no doubt try to take advantage of.
