Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask LBJ Austin). They blew past the Austin Achieve Polar Bears 70-8 on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Jaguars considering their 14-point performance the contest before.

LBJ Austin's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Austin Achieve, they are on a 27-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

After both having extra time off, LBJ Austin and Valor South Austin will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 12:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Valor South Austin's defense has only allowed 21.5 points per game this season, so LBJ Austin's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Austin Achieve, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eastside Early College at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
