The Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors's game last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 58-45 victory over KIPP Bold City. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Trinity Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Cameron Anderson had a dynamite game for Trinity Christian Academy, scoring 20 points along with four steals. It was the first time this season that Anderson scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Baker, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
KIPP Bold City's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joel Hunt, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Banks, who scored 12 points.
Trinity Christian Academy's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for KIPP Bold City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.
Trinity Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Global Outreach Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Trinity Christian Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.6 points per game this season. KIPP Bold City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
