The Lab University Prep Lab Rats will head out on the road to face off against the Moravian Prep Lions on Wednesday. Lab University Prep has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Even though Varsity Opponent scored an imposing 96 points on Thursday, Lab University Prep still came out on top. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Lab University Prep made off with a 97-96 win over Varsity Opponent.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lab University Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than DeMarco Reynolds, who scored 26 points. Reynolds is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Antwan Corbin, who scored 19 points.
Meanwhile, Moravian Prep faced Millbrook in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Moravian Prep sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 65-62 victory over Millbrook back in December of 2023. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Moravian Prep has posted yet this season.
Lab University Prep is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Moravian Prep, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.
