Hilltop extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Brooklyn Kuszmaul. The Cadets had just enough and edged out the North Central Eagles 3-2 for which the team can thank Kuszmaul, who had 27 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Hilltop took North Central into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 12-25, 23-25, 15-10.
Despite the loss, North Central still got an impressive performance from Maycee Walker, who had 25 digs and two aces.
Hilltop's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for North Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
