It was a good run, but Widefield unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Canon City Tigers by a score of 2-1. If the Gladiators were looking for revenge after losing 7-2 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Widefield now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Canon City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

While Widefield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
