Tampa Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Fuller, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five steals. Chandler White Brooks was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with three steals.
Tampa Prep's victory was their 24th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.13 points. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-9.
Tampa Prep won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cypress Creek at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Cypress Creek has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Keswick Christian at 7:00 p.m.
