The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lake Region in their matchups with Gray-New Gloucester: they've now lost eight in a row.
Nate Hebert was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 31 points. Aidan Hebert was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Lake Region's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Gray-New Gloucester, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Region will square off against Leavitt at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gray-New Gloucester, they will head out on the road to face off against Marshwood at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Marshwood comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
