The Bristol-Plymouth RVT Craftsmen will face off against the Tri-County RVT Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bristol-Plymouth RVT will be strutting in after a victory while Tri-County RVT will be coming in after a loss.
On Friday, Bristol-Plymouth RVT earned a 7-3 win over Northbridge. That's two games straight that the Craftsmen have won by exactly four runs.

Drew Ryder looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
At the plate, Antonio Cirino was excellent, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cameron Wilbur, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one double.
Meanwhile, Tri-County RVT lost a heartbreaker to Diman RVT when they met back in May of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Cougars fell just short of the Bengals by a score of 1-0. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Bengals recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Dylan Maw spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Tri-County RVT saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Roche, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Bristol-Plymouth RVT's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tri-County RVT, they now have a losing record of 7-8-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bristol-Plymouth RVT has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Tri-County RVT struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Bristol-Plymouth RVT beat Tri-County RVT 5-2 in their previous meeting last Wednesday. Will the Craftsmen repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
