The matchup between them and Glencoe wasn't particularly close, with Westbrook Christian falling 69-51. Westbrook Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Glencoe apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played two weeks ago.
Westbrook Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Edge, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. Edge hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games. Cooper Greer was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Westbrook Christian's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Glencoe, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-9.
Westbrook Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 86-60 defeat vs. Geraldine on the 10th. Glencoe has also already played their next matchup, a 70-64 loss against Plainview on the 10th.
