Mission Oak has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Dinuba Emperors at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Thursday, Mission Oak beat Hanford 78-67.
Mission Oak got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Malakai Rodriguez out in front who scored 18 points along with three steals. Levi Jimenez was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
In what's become a running theme this season, Dinuba gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. Everything went their way against Tulare Union as Dinuba made off with a 63-42 win. Winning may never get old, but Dinuba sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
The victory got Mission Oak back to even at 11-11. As for Dinuba, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.
Mission Oak came up short against Dinuba in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 70-62. Thankfully for Mission Oak, Anthony Joseph harp (who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and 5 assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
