On Friday Vaughn take on Elida at Game time moved up to 2 pm at 2:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps national rankings project a close contest.
Vaughn simply couldn't be stopped last Saturday, as they easily beat Roy/Mosquero 56-0.
Meanwhile, Elida found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 20-54 punch to the gut against Animas.
Vaughn's win lifted them to 2-0 while Elida's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Vaughn can add another positive mark to their record or if Elida can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Vaughn's step.
