Chopticon is 7-2 against Leonardtown since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Chopticon Braves will be playing at home against the Leonardtown Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Chopticon fell victim to Great Mills' stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Hornets, falling 30-0. Chopticon has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 43 points the game before, Leonardtown were a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They suffered a rough 27-7 loss at the hands of Patuxent.
The losing side was boosted by Isaac Sirvon eubanks, who rushed for 222 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
The losses dropped Chopticon to 2-8 and Leonardtown to 3-5.
Chopticon didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Leonardtown when the teams last played back in October of 2022, but they still walked away with a 20-14 win. Does Chopticon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Leonardtown turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
