The Horizon Hawks's four-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They secured a 54-50 W over Hope Academy. The victory was just what Horizon needed coming off of a 80-58 loss in their prior game.
Adonys Christo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Rojas, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Horizon's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11. As for Hope Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7.
Horizon's homestand continues as they prepare to take on University at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Hope Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Southland Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th.
