Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Raytown). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Truman Patriots 60-12. The Bluejays haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Raytown's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Roger Haney, who picked up 44 receiving yards and one score, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Jaeden Davis was in the mix as well, providing the Bluejays with two TDs.

Raytown's record is now 5-1. As for Truman, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Raytown will challenge Fort Osage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Truman, they will square off against Platte County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
