Basketball Recap: Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Skates Past Hatton with Ease

Decatur Heritage Christian Academy won the last time they faced Hatton and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 27 points or more this season.

Decatur Heritage Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Leslie Hames shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds and Genie Mcghee went 9 of 14 on her way to 19 points in addition to eight boards and seven steals. Mcghee is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 40 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Eastman, who posted nine points.

Decatur Heritage Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.
