After flying high against Hico two weeks ago, Early came back down to earth. Early took a 35-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eastland.
The loss dropped Early's record to 4-2. The victory bumped Eastland's record up to 5-1.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Early take on Clyde at 7:30 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup. As for Eastland, they will face off against Breckenridge. Breckenridge are limping into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
