York-Adams II recap Nov. 7, 2012
West York Area extended the longest winning streak in York-Adams II this week by beating New Oxford, 35-0. This was the team's 10th consecutive win.
Dover moved up to 387 from 414 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Eagles were able to make move up by defeating Susquehannock 54-12.
Kyle Amrhiem put up the best numbers through the air as Kennard-Dale lost to Northeastern. He finished with a total of five completions for 62 yards and one touchdown. Amrhiem's favorite target this week was Dan Hare, who caught two passes for 38 yards.
Brock Snellbaker was the best wideout in the league this week as West York Area bested the Colonials. Snellbaker tallied one reception for 72 yards. Zach Smith helped West York Area's passing attack out by catching two balls for 18 yards.
Logan Ambrose was the most productive running back in York-Adams II this week. In 20 carries, he ran for 262 yards as Dover bested New Oxford. Isaiah Green also contributed to the rushing game with 60 yards on the ground.
The Bulldogs' Brandon Kinneman and Smith have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Kinneman has thrown for 1170 yards this season, while Smith, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 53 catches for 861 yards. Daniel Adams from the Bobcats leads the league in rushing with 1380 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place West York Area takes on second place Northeastern. Last week, West York Area defeated Jason Thurston's team, while Northeastern topped the Rams.
There should be lots of points scored when Brendan Brown's team and the Bulldogs face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Bobcats comes in having scored 281 this season, while West York Area has scored 345. Northeastern scored 42 points last week as it topped Kennard-Dale.
