Meanwhile, Kettle Run was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They lost  11-3 to Fauquier.
 Kettle Run saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Emerson Golden, who  went 1-for-3 with one  triple and one  run.
 Skyline now  has a losing record of 8-9. As for Kettle Run, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Friday. Skyline hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.6  home runs per game. However, it's not like Kettle Run struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 0.6  home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
 Skyline was able to grind out a solid  win over Kettle Run in their previous matchup  back in April, winning  7-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
