The Windsor Academy Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Gatewood, falling 69-22. Windsor Academy has not had much luck with Gatewood recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Windsor Academy saw an underclassman step up: Audrey Dobson scored seven points.
Windsor Academy bumped their record down to 2-11 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Gatewood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6.
Windsor Academy and Twiggs Academy will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Twiggs Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 back in December of 2023. As for Gatewood, Gatewood and Westfield School will face off at 3:30 p.m. on January 13th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Westfield School presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Gatewood in Georgia (Westfield School is ranked 78th, while Gatewood is ranked 261st).
