The biggest upset of the week belonged to Seymour, who defeated 52nd ranked Derby, 49-26. Joey Salemme ran for 220 yards during the win.
Ansonia added to the longest winning streak in Naugatuck Valley - Brass this week by beating Wolcott, 62-27. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Vincient Gambino threw for 282 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 19-37 with 3 interceptions.
Arkeel Newsome was a beast in the backfield as Ansonia beat the Eagles.
Newsome was a passing and rushing force as Thomas Brockett's team topped Wolcott.
Gambino put up the best numbers in passing as Jason Pace's team fell to the Chargers. Gambino's favorite target this week was Adam Santopietro, who caught 10 passes for 133 yards.
The Eagles' Gambino and Jayson Matos led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Gambino has thrown for 1,755 yards this season, while Matos has 36 catches for 604 yards. Newsome from Ansonia leads the league in rushing with 1,902 yards.
The Chargers are in first place, while Watertown is in sixth place.
Wolcott fell to Ansonia 62-27 last week, the largest margin of any game. Gambino ran for 11 yards in the defeat.
