Volleyball Recap: Poca Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

Poca saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the St. Albans Red Dragons.

Sophia Bailey paced Poca's offense, picking up eight kills. Bailey got some help from Abby Barnett and her 16 assists. Ashlinn Sullivan controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Poca is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 24-2-4 record this season. As for St. Albans, they moved to 16-11 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Poca and St. Albans will both be playing Philip Barbour the next time they take the court. The Dots will head out to face the Colts at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Red Dragons will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
