South Miami is 0-3 against Hialeah since November of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The South Miami Cobras will head out on the road to face off against the Hialeah Thoroughbreds at 5:00 p.m. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 14 consecutive losses dating back to last season for South Miami and seven for Hialeah dating back to last season.
Last Monday, South Miami was beaten by Goleman 69-3. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points South Miami has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Hialeah lost to Varela at home by a decisive 38-24 margin on Wednesday.
South Miami bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Hialeah, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
South Miami was taken down by Hialeah 60-26 in their previous matchup back in December of 2020. Can South Miami avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
