The Orchard View Cardinals fell victim to the Whitehall Vikings''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Vikings 68-0. While losing is never fun, Orchard View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 318th, while Whitehall is ranked 17th).
Orchard View are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Whitehall, Ludington, and Oakridge. As for Whitehall, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Orchard View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Whitehall is also done with their season.
