Make it four blowout wins for the Bendle Tigers this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Atherton 71-35 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Bendle has posted yet this season.
Bendle's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Boyd, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Malis Firman was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine assists and four steals.
Bendle's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-4. As for Atherton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Bendle will challenge Genesee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Genesee focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday. As for Atherton, they will be playing at home against Bentley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bentley and Atherton are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
