There's no place like home for the Pottsgrove Falcons, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against Boyertown by a score of 53-42 on Thursday. For Pottsgrove, this counts as revenge for the 70-45 loss Boyertown walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2020.
Boyertown lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jack Greaves, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Greaves has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Braedyn Johnson, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Pottsgrove's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Boyertown, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
Pottsgrove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Boyertown will head out on the road to challenge Academy Park at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Academy Park has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 177 points over their last three games.
