The Twin River Titans had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Giltner by a score of 50-37 on Friday.
Twin River can attribute much of their success to Paydon Rinkol, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rinkol has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kirk Hebda, who scored nine points.
Despite the loss, Giltner still got an impressive performance from Preston Larson, who scored 14 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Reeson, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Twin River now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Giltner, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Twin River will take on the Mustangs at TBD on Tuesday. Stanton is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Giltner, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Buffaloes at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nebraska (Gibbon is ranked 243rd, while the Hornets are ranked 233rd).
