Spearville had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Minneola Wildcats. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Spearville was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-13.

Spearville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Kiowa County on the 29th. As for Minneola, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Bucklin on Tuesday.
