B District 6 recap October 8, 2013
Evan Neville of York ran for the longest rushing play in B District 6 this season against Schuyler last week. Neville scampered for 65 yards on the play and finished with 95 on the day as his team defeated the Warriors.
Linden Kaliff and Ty Danielson provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Schuyler. The longest such play in the league this season, the connection resulted in 83 yards.
York's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kaliff threw for 191 and 3 touchdowns and Danielson had 94 yards receiving. On the ground Neville contributed 95 yards. Ryan Dolan helped York's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 97 yards.
Kaliff put up the best numbers through the air as Glen Snodgrass' team defeated Casey Winings' team. Kaliff's favorite target this week was Danielson, who caught 2 passes for 94 yards.
York's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Dukes feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kaliff has thrown for 1,176 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Danielson has 19 catches for 491 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Grand Island Northwest takes on Aurora. The Vikings are currently in third, while the Huskies are in second.
The Dukes took down the Warriors 47-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kaliff in the win.
