In what's become a running theme this season, the Cromwell Cardinals gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They put the hurt on McGregor with a sharp 70-49 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Cromwell has posted since December 8, 2023.
Cromwell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dylan Nyberg led the charge by scoring 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Lindman, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Cromwell's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-6. As for McGregor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cromwell will take on Two Harbors at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McGregor, McGregor and Northland will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Northland has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 766 points over their last ten games.
