Lake Stevens had won three straight on the road, but on Monday they bumped their record up to 12-5 to make it four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Jackson Timberwolves. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Timberwolves: they've now won four in a row.
Lake Stevens got a great performance from Luke Morris as he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits (and only one walk).
