Baseball Recap: York Gets the Win

York came out on top against Prospect on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fourth inning. The Dukes walked away with a 14-10 victory over the Knights. The Dukes haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Josh Fleming was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luke Pieczynski, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

York was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .457. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Prospect only posted a batting average of .286.

York's record now sits at 21-11. As for Prospect, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-11-1.

York does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prospect, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lake Zurich at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
