The Winter Haven Christian Warriors lost against the All Saints' Academy Saints back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The New Year welcomed Winter Haven Christian with a 65-24 whooping from All Saints' Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Winter Haven Christian has scored all season.
All Saints' Academy found their leader in underclassman Jaelen Randall, who scored 16 points along with seven steals. Randall is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dontravious Bell, who scored 13 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Winter Haven Christian and nudges their season record down to 1-9. As for All Saints' Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winter Haven Christian has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Geneva Classical Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 8th. Geneva Classical Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Winter Haven Christian in Florida (Geneva Classical Academy is ranked 376th, while Winter Haven Christian is ranked 764th). All Saints' Academy and Oasis Christian will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Oasis Christian is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
