Trinity Catholic/Wright Tech fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game on Thursday as the odds are decidedly against them. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with Wilton. Trinity Catholic/Wright Tech needs to shore up a defense that is allowing 34.22 points per matchup.
The Crusaders were able to grind out a solid win over Bridgeport Central two weeks ago, winning 21-13.
Meanwhile, Wilton ended up a good deal behind New Canaan when they played, losing 38-20. Wilton's defeat came about despite a quality game from Kyle Hyzy, who caught four passes for 139 yards and one TD. This makes it four games in a row in which Hyzy has produced a touchdown.
Trinity Catholic/Wright Tech's victory lifted them to 2-7 while Wilton's loss dropped them down to 6-3. We'll find out if the Crusaders can add another positive mark to their record or if the Warriors can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Trinity Catholic/Wright Tech's step.
