Meanwhile, East Union's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Manteca, falling 63-27. East Union has not had much luck with Manteca recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

As for East Union, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Central Catholic against East Union in their previous matchup on January 5th as the team secured a 59-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central Catholic since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
