There's no place like home for the Beauregard Hornets, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They breezed by Dadeville at home to the tune of 51-13. That 51-13 margin sets a new team best for Beauregard this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beauregard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kam Torbert, who scored ten points along with six steals. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for Torbert. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Watson, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Beauregard is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Dadeville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beauregard will take on Horseshoe Bend at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Horseshoe Bend will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Dadeville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against LaFayette at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. LaFayette is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
