Pine Bush found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-48 punch to the gut against Newburgh Free Academy. A silver lining for Pine Bush was the play of senior Haakon Meland, who rushed for 120 yards and 1 touchdown.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Kingston, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 10-14 to Warwick.
Pine Bush took their match against Kingston the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 28-7 score. Will Pine Bush repeat their success, or does Kingston have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
