The Westside Rams can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Berea 82-23 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Westside sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Leading Westside to victory were Ahrianna Scott and Makyhia Paul. Scott scored 20 points along with four steals, while Paul dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Paul has scored all season. Khalia Hartwell was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and five blocks.
Westside's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Berea, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westside will square off against the Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Rams are ranked 13th). As for Berea, they will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
