Mia Eshleman was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brayisha Avery, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Kansas City East Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-10 record this season. As for Applewood Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
