The UIC College Prep Firecats lost against the Rauner Wildcats back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. UIC College Prep took a hard 49-32 fall against Rauner. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points UIC College Prep has scored all season.
Several Firecats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marcus Moore, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Coleman , who scored five points along with five rebounds.
UIC College Prep's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5. As for Rauner, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
UIC College Prep will be home for the holidays to greet ITW David Speer Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. ITW David Speer Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Rauner, they will head out on the road to face off against Rowe-Clark at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: Jurrel Buford and Yahweh Anderson.
