Glen Lake got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Benji Allen out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Allen has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cooper Bufalini, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Glen Lake's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Traverse City Christian, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glen Lake will take on Suttons Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Suttons Bay will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 596th, while Glen Lake is ranked 152nd). As for Traverse City Christian, they will be playing at home against Bear Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
