Genesee Valley never let their opponents score on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Alfred-Almond Eagles with a sharp 13-0 win. Considering the Jaguars have won seven matchups by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Genesee Valley's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Alfred-Almond, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Genesee Valley will venture away from home to square off against Friendship at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
