The Sabine Cardinals won the last time they faced the New Diana Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Sabine came out on top against New Diana by a score of 41-32.
New Diana's loss came despite strong showings from Starrmia Dixon and Abbie Shafer. Dixon scored eight points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Shafer scored five points along with five rebounds and three steals. Dixon is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last four games she's played.
Sabine has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. As for New Diana, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-17.
Sabine does not have any more games scheduled as of now. New Diana also has no future games currently scheduled.
