The Caldwell Chiefs won the last time they faced the Kennedy Knights, and things went their way on Thursday too. Caldwell came out on top against Kennedy by a score of 43-32. The win made it back-to-back wins for Caldwell.
When it comes to explaining why Kennedy lost, one person who can't be blamed is My'Shayla Clancy. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. Clancy scored a full 50% of Kennedy's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Caldwell now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caldwell will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mount St. Dominic Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 11, 2024. Kennedy will be home for the holidays to greet Elizabeth at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
