Jojo Harrower's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ashland over North Bend
 Starting off the list is Ashland's  Jojo Harrower, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Harrower rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 140 yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 Ashland dropped their record down to 1-4 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road dating back to last season. Harrower and Ashland will welcome Marshfield  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Big Game from Van Gastel As Mazama Won 27-20
 Thanks in part to  Brody Van Gastel, Mazama said goodbye to their three-game losing streak. Marshfield had no answer to  Van Gastel  on Friday as he rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 76 yards and two touchdowns.
 Mazama's win bumped their record up to 2-3. Van Gastel and Mazama will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Bend at 7:00  p.m.  on October 18th.

A Season-Best  Effort from  Lucas Folau Leads Marshfield over Mazama
 Marshfield came up short  on Friday despite  Lucas Folau delivering his best game to date. Folau wasn't messing around, picking up  three  sacks, forcing two fumbles,  and making six total tackles (4.0 for loss). The  game was his third straight with six or   more total tackles dating back to last season.
 If the past is any indication,  Folau could be in store for another big game when he takes on Ashland on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Folau saw the Grizzlies), he picked up  two  sacks, forced a fumble,  and made five total tackles.

Kristopher Baldwin Makes It Two for Mazama
 Another Mazama player making an appearance on this list is  Kristopher Baldwin. He rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown.
